Preschool Playbook: Christmas Sensory Table
We put the sand away for the month of December and created some new fun in our “sand” table. Beware—this is a messy table. We actually have to bring out the vacuum after each use. Plus, many of the children go home “white.”
This table is a terrific smelling table made with flour, salt, and senses.
You need a:
5 lb bag of flour
1 container of salt
3 tbsp. ground allspice
3 tbsp. ground cinnamon
3 tbsp. ground cloves
3 tbsp. ground ginger
We then put some sifters, spoons, and scoopers in the mixture and allowed them to enjoy. If I teach pre-k next year, I am so doing this!
